Fowey beech leaves. 2023. Earrings.

These earrings were created to accompany Kurt Jackson's exhibition based on the 'The  Fowey' 2023. 

"Beech trees are common along the Fowey’s route, proliferating as soon as she leaves Bodmin Moor and enters the wooded valleys all the way down to the coast."

This earring is cast directly from a small dry autumn beech leaf to capture the beautiful, ribbed structure and curled form.
