Helford oak leaves. 2019. Earrings.

These earrings were created to accompany Kurt Jackson's exhibition based on 'Frenchmans Creek' 2019.

'Working in Frenchman’s Creek, along the Helford, in the New Forest and so many other forests, the oak tree gives me her leaves. Floating on the water, on the forest floor, moved by the breeze, the lobed leaves of the oak are instantly familiar.”
