Catalogue to accompany Kurt Jackson's 2014/2015 solo exhibition at The National Maritime Museum Cornwall, Falmouth.

Line caught and local is made up of series of paintings, drawings and sculpture of West Penwith’s inshore fishermen at work: documenting and celebrating this fascinating and sustainable side to the Cornish fishing industry. This project neatly encapsulates Jackson’s working practice, motivation and philosophy; his on going engagement with the environment, tradition, identity, heritage and community.
